Aruba is one of the Lesser Antilles islands located in the Southern Caribbean Sea, which is south of the hurricane belt.

The Tamarijn Resort is only available as an all-inclusive experience. Taxes and service charges are included—airline fares and airport transfers are not included. Meals and entertainment are included in the booking price. Non-motorized water sports are included, including snorkeling and snorkeling lesson, beginners windsurfing equipment and "Learn to Windsurf" beach clinic, catamarans, floats and kayaks.

The Divi Aruba and Tamarijn Aruba are separated by a stretch of beach. The walk takes about five minutes. Free shuttle service, using golf cart-like vehicles, is available. It runs between the two resorts, the Casino and The Links at Divi Aruba golf course approximately every 15 minutes. The Alhambra Casino is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 AM. Table games open daily at 6:00 PM.

Non-smoking rooms are not specifically available and all rooms are well ventilated.

The two resorts offer wide varieties of food service, both buffet and a la carte. Selections range from made-to-order brick-oven pizza, grilled fare including Argentinian sourced grass-fed beef, Italian, Asian, Mexican and fine dining.
Yes, there are complimentary Nespresso-style coffee machines in every room with two coffee pods, two decaf coffee pods and two tea bags replenished daily.
Plastic constitutes 90% of all trash floating in the oceans. Straws are in the top 10 of items picked up during trash cleanups. This is one of the main reasons we have eliminated the use of plastic straws and other paper and plastic goods throughout the properties.

At the buffet restaurants, breakfast is served between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Lunch is served between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, and dinner is served between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

The a la carte restaurants serve dinner only between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

The snack bars serving sandwiches, pizzas and other snacks are open between 11:00 AM and 1:00 AM.

Dinner reservations are required for a la carte restaurants. Reservations can be made for two days in advance once on property at the guest services desk.

The Hotel is pleased to accept special requests for food preferences. It is our goal to make each guest's stay as enjoyable as possible, but it is important to understand that food preparers in hotel environments are schooled in food quality and taste and are not catering professionals trained for specialized diets. The Hotel will take reasonable care to comply with special food requests, but understand the Hotel makes no guarantee regarding the avoidance of specified ingredients. In booking your stay, you therefore agree (for you and for your party), that the Hotel's sole obligation for failing to meet a food preference will be replacement of the food item.

Yes, we have babysitting services available in guest's hotel room for a minimum of three hours. 

  • On regular days, the rate is $17
  • On national holidays, the rate is $20
  • On December 24 and 25, the rate is $30
  • On December 31 and January 1, the rate is $35

All rates are based per hour for one child. For every additional child, $3 will be charged. Babysitters will only babysit the children of one family per room.

There is a Kids Camp for children ages 5 to 12, with activities including t-shirt painting, arts and crafts, basketball, movies, pool games, bingo, scavenger hunt, snorkel clinic, tennis clinic, soccer tournament, snacks and more. The programming runs AM sessions from 9:00 to 11:45 and PM sessions from 1:00 to 4:00. A completed registration form is required for program sign-up.

The local currency is the Aruba Florin, however US dollars are widely accepted on the Island. Traveler's checks can be cashed at the Front Desk with a maximum of $100 per day. An ATM is available at Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive.

Yes, Wi-Fi (wireless Internet access) is available in all rooms and public areas.

All cancellations made outside of THIRTY (30) days of travel will be issued a refund of deposit amount less a $100 (USD) cancellation/transaction fee - no exceptions.

A $25 (USD) Change fee will be charged to the credit card on file for each occurrence of the following:

  • Travel date or rate change
  • Total length of stay change
  • Name change
  • Addition/deletion of guest(s) in room
  • Credit card change

Reservations cancelled inside 30 days of travel will forfeit deposit of monies.

Should winter weather conditions affect your flight into or out of Aruba and you wish to inform us of a change in your travel plans we ask that you contact our US Reservations office at 1-800-554-2008. When leaving a message – please provide your reservation booking name, hotel, your current dates of travel and the dates that you wish to change due to a flight cancellation, as well as a telephone number where you can be reached. Every attempt will be made to assist in accommodating changes in travel dates should hotel occupancy levels permit. Guests who are currently staying at the hotels who are unable to depart Aruba are asked to speak directly to our Front Desk staff at the resort for assistance and travel updates.
