Do the all inclusive rates at the two resorts include taxes, service charges, and airfare?
Taxes and service charges are included. Airline fares and airport transfers are not included.
Is it possible to book either property without the all inclusive features?
No, both resorts are offered only as all inclusive.
What is the difference between the rooms at the 2 resorts?
The Divi Aruba room categories are 1. Gardenview rooms, 2. Beachside Casita rooms (next to beach but do not have ocean views), 3. Oceanview rooms, and 4. Oceanfront Lanai rooms (right on the beach with ocean views). The Oceanfront Lanai rooms are the resort's best rooms. There are only 20 Oceanfront Lanai rooms, with 10 on the first floor and 10 on the second floor. Any room category at the Divi Aruba includes use of all facilities and features including restaurants, bars and other services at the adjacent Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive.
The Tamarijn Aruba rooms are all oceanfront, in two story buildings and steps to the beach.
All Tamarijn Aruba guests have full use of the features and facilities of the adjacent Divi Aruba.
At both resorts each room has either a king bed or two queen beds. The rooms at Divi Aruba are slightly larger than those at the Tamarijn Aruba. Each has a patio or balcony.
Are non-smoking rooms available?
Non-smoking rooms are not available, however, the rooms are well ventilated.
Do all rooms have a patio or balcony?
Yes, ground floor rooms have a patio. All other rooms have a balcony.
Do the resorts have hair dryers, irons and ironing boards?
Yes, hair dryers, irons and irong boards are available in all rooms.
Are cribs available at the hotel?
Yes, cribs are available at no extra charge.
Are there safes located in the rooms?
Yes, safes are located in all rooms. Locks may be obtained at the Front Desk for a charge of $2.00 per day.
What is the electrical current?
The electrical current is 110 V 60 HZ, the same as the United States
What are the hours of the food and beverage outlets?
At the buffet restaurants breakfast is served between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, lunch between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM and dinner between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
The a la carte restaurants serve dinner only between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
The snack bars serving sandwiches, pizzas, and other snacks are open between 11:00 AM and 1:00 AM.
What type of food is served at the resorts?
The two resorts offer wide varieties of food service, both buffet and a la Carte. Selections range from made-to-order brick oven pizza, grilled fare, Italian, and fine dining.
What types of liquor is available at the resorts?
A wide variety of liquor is served at the two properties, including international and local beer, rum, vodka, gin, Scotch, tequila, bourbon, cognac and liqueurs, red and white wine, white zinfandel, and non-alcoholic beer.
What are the children's activities at the resorts?
There is a Kids Camp for children ages 5 to 12, with activities including t-shirt painting, arts and crafts, basketball, movies, pool games, bingo, scavenger hunt, snorkel clinic, tennis clinic, soccer tournament, snacks and more. (Note: minimum attendance of 3 children required for camp activities)
What are the hours of operation for the Alhambra Casino?
The Alhambra Casino is open from 10:00AM to 4:00AM. Table games open daily at 6:00PM.
How far are the resorts from the downtown shopping district?
The drive is approximately 10 minutes.
Can traveler's checks be cashed at the Front Desk?
Yes, traveler's checks can be cashed at the Front Desk with a maximum of $100 per day.
Is Internet access available?
Yes, WIFI (wireless Internet access) is available in all rooms and public areas. The cost is as follows: 24 hours: $15.00 USD, 3 days: $30.00 USD, 4 days: $35.00 USD and 7 days: $50.00 USD. These charges are for continuous access. Additionally, an Internet lounge for guests of both resorts is located at the Tamarijn Aruba and is open 24/7. (Additional fees apply).
Where is the closest golf course?
Opened in 2004, The Links at Divi Aruba, a premium 9-hole course with an on-site golf school and clubhouse, is adjacent to the Divi & Tamarijn All Inclusives. This optional amenity is available at an additional charge.
What currency is used in Aruba?
The local currency is the Aruba Florin, however US dollars are widely accepted on the Island.
What types of water sports are included?
Non-motorized water sports are included, including snorkeling and snorkeling lesson, beginners windsurfing equipment and "Learn to Windsurf" beach clinic, catamarans, floats and kayaks.
Are beach towels available?
The resorts provide beach towels. A towel card is issued upon check-in, which can be used to obtain a beach towel each day.
How far away are the resorts from each other?
The Divi Aruba and Tamarijn Aruba are separated by a stretch of beach. The walk takes about 5 minutes. Free shuttle service, using golf cart-like vehicles, is available. It runs between the two resorts, the Casino and The Links at Divi Aruba golf course approximately every 15 minutes.
How far are the resorts from the airport?
The drive is approximately 30 minutes.
What is the price of airport transfers to/from the resorts?
By taxi, the fare will be approximately $20 U.S., one way.
